'Leading from the Past- Stories of Leading Creek' Book- $15

JOHN DEERE NO-TILL DRILL (10-feet wide, suitable for planting grasses, legumes including soybeans and small grains, requires 85-horsepower/6,900 pounds tractor minimum) - $110 minimum fee plus $11/acre
over 10 acres.
HAYBUSTER NO-TILL DRILL (7 feet wide, suitable for planting grasses, legumes, and warm season grasses, requires a 50-horsepower/3,600 lbs tractor minimum) - $110 minimum fee plus $11/acre over 10 acres.
BRILLION SEEDER (for traditional seeding, 8-feet wide, suitable for cool-season and warm-season grasses and small legumes, requires 45-horsepower tractor minimum)
- $100 minimum plus $10/acre over 10 acres.
LIME SPREADER (to help maintain proper soil pH, requires 60-horsepower tractor minimum)
- $80 minimum plus $2/ton over 40 tons.
FORESTER TREE PLANTER (attaches to three-point hitch, can be used to plant several thousand trees per day. Works best with conifers, but also plants hardwoods, requires 25-horsepower tractor minimum)
- $50 per day.
PLANTER BARS (for hand planting of trees) - FREE with $50 returnable deposit.
BOX TRAP (for catching raccoons, opossums) - FREE with $30 returnable deposit.
All equipment must be scheduled through the Meigs SWCD office at (740) 992- 4282 during regular business hours for delivery Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Fee includes delivery and approximate calibration. Seeding amounts may vary and user is responsible for ensuring machines are properly calibrated, and cleaned prior to pickup. A $50 cleanup fee will be assessed for equipment not cleaned following use. The minimum fee will be assessed if equipment is delivered and not used. A $10 charge per month will be added to all outstanding bills after 60 days.
A $100 delivery/pickup fee will be assessed for equipment rentals outside of Meigs County.
No out - of - state rentals.
